Warehouse Operator/Delivery Driver

To be successful in this role, you will have a genuine can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously whilst developing a greater understanding of the processes for the company.

Key Job Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Responsibility and management for the fulfillment of customer supply orders, by allocating stock from suppliers and assigning it to its designated location within the warehouse

- Complete deliveries by sending via courier (GO-Logistics or TNT) or by driving a ute or hire car. Must have the ability to ensure all stock is delivered as per the delivery document, safe driving and genuine attitude

- Preparation of installation orders for the installation team

- Maintain truck or van by completing basic maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs

- Learning products in our consignment, allocating them to customer orders as required and completing monthly consignment counts to acknowledge replenishment requirements

- Promote a clean work area by sweeping, rubbish removal and repositioning of stock.

- Forward thinking approach with ability to question returned stock and allocate it accordingly

- Assist installation team by completing drop offs to site teams

- Sending back returned items to suppliers with appropriate conduct

- Small project installs of fixtures and fittings, as well as unpacking, rubbish removal and positioning of appliances

- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Basis Australia products, services and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Attributes:

- Minimum 2 years experience

- Valid NSW Driver’s License

- Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work

- Strong organisational, time management and planning skills

- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with numerous stakeholders
