The Role:

KAS are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our warehouse team. Due to business growth and internal promotions, we are seeking a self-motivated, driven, and enthusiastic Warehouse Picker and Packer who is looking for more within their role!

This is a diverse role, and your tasks may vary from week to week to meet the demands of our busy warehouse. Your resilience, adaptability and flexible outlook towards work is essential.

You will be responsible for:

• Picking and packing products for KAS Orders which include cushions, bedlinen, throws & ceramics and vases.
• Manually lifting boxes up to 15kg
• Identifying any product faults that need addressing
• Dispatch orders
• Following and adhering to all operational health and safety requirements
• Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
• General warehouse duties

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Previous warehouse experience and an understanding of warehouse operations
• Forklift license 
• Resilience and adaptability
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Independent working skills as well being a team player
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel)
• Flexibility and adaptability to work tasks
• A strong and committed work ethic
• A warm & professional manner with excellent interpersonal skills

Given the nature of this role, we require you to be physically fit for manual handling and able to stand for long periods of time.

This is a Permanent Casual role, 38 hours per week.  5 days per week 8:00am – 4.00pm.
