Warehouse Picker/Packer

Lee Brothers is an Australian owned company that has been in the safety workwear and PPE industry for the past 20 years. We provide Tuffwear™ workwear, footwear and PPE to a number of large national customers. We currently have operations in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.

Due to business growth, we are seeking a part-time Picker/Packer at our Acacia Ridge warehouse in Brisbane for 20-25 hours per week. This role will be ongoing and we are seeking someone who wants to be part of the Tuffwear team long term.

This is no ordinary role!  Your day will be split between the computer and picking/packing/dispatching orders on a daily basis.  

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Picking, packing and dispatch of customer workwear orders (freight management)
• Generating work orders for customer embroidery
• Checking of all incoming supplier purchase orders
• Checking of all incoming inter-store transfers
• Label and put away all incoming stock
• General warehouse duties as required
• General housekeeping duties of the warehouse and other work areas

This is a very hands on role, and requires the candidate/s to be able to have a good level of computer knowledge, be able to perform very repetitive tasks (pick, pack, dispatch), follow instructions and work to specific time requirements for customer delivery.  This role requires the use of an order picker machine, so you must be ok with heights.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Good computer skills are required as 50% or more of your time is computer based
• Previous warehouse experience in the safety/PPE industry highly regarded
• Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking, packing & dispatch
• Be physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills
• Good track record of job reliability

Note - Hours will only be business hours Monday-Friday.
