The Role:
This role is responsible for picking and packing orders in Gerflor's Kenbrock Warehouse based in Brendale. You’ll be a self-starter who is able to learn our processes quickly to receive, pick, pack and prepare orders for distribution across Australia. Knowledge of computers is required as you’ll be managing the movement of stock and completing invoicing once confirmation of the pick has occurred.
This role will also require you to load and unload pallets and rolls from trucks and containers, therefore a current LF Forklift Licence is essential (with counterbalance and high reach experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders for delivery and invoice / label them as required
- Arrange collection and distribution of flooring stock with the appropriate transport company
- Coordinate the arrival of stock, check for damages and ensure accuracy by cross checking goods received against orders placed,
- Load and unload stock from trucks and containers and store it in correct locations
- Accurately record all inventory into Navision Inventory System
- Participate in stocktake activities
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean
About You:
- Experience in warehousing role (2+ years)
- Current LF Forklift license (essential)
- Computer literate with experience using Excel, Navision or similar software
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong planning and organising skills with accuracy to all work
- Be physically fit
- Have a commitment to quality and safety
- An all rounder, who excels in a fast paced environment working with a collaborative team.
