Salvos Stores is seeking to employ a Full-Time Warehouse Storeperson to work at our main warehouse/distribution center for our operations in Carole Park in Brisbane QLD.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Storeperson you will be responsible for;
Ensuring donated goods are effectively and accurately sorted for store use in a timely manner - This includes determining if such goods appear to be of sufficient quality to be re-sold in our store;
Pick and prepare store orders efficiently and correctly using the correct paperwork, systems and operating procedures;
Other duties may include baling clothing, loading or unloading stock from trucks, maintaining cleanliness of the work area and disposal of unusable items;
Meeting occupational health and safety obligations.
ABOUT YOU
As our ideal candidate, you will meet the following essential criteria;
Ability to work in a team environment;
Ability to work under supervision and to work in accordance with a schedule;
Demonstrated understanding of the principles of customer service;
Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
Fork lift license desirable but not required.
Experience in baling is preferred.
