About the Role:
Laminex Rockhampton is one of six key sites throughout Australia, playing a crucial role in our comprehensive national and international supply chain network.
In light of our recent growth and continued success, we are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Storeperson/HR Driver to become a vital member of our Rockhampton team.
We seek a team-oriented individual who prioritizes safety and customer satisfaction, demonstrating a proactive attitude and a willingness to acquire new skills.
This full-time dayshift position consists of a 38-hour week, with start and finish times varying based on in-town and out-of-town runs. Specifically, in-town runs operate from 07:30 am to 15:36 pm, while out-of-town runs feature staggered start times to accommodate routes to Biloela, Gladstone, Emerald, and Blackwater. The role may also include overtime opportunities to meet business needs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Serving as a key player in our Monday-to-Friday operations, you will undertake responsibilities such as loading and unloading trucks, completing local and out-of-town deliveries, general warehouse tasks, and picking orders for next-day delivery.
- Efficiently manage local deliveries, which may range from a few to seven drops per day, and similarly, handle out-of-town deliveries with the same variability.
- Engage in warehouse activities post-local deliveries, including but not limited to loading and unloading trucks and picking customer orders.
- Contribute to a dynamic team environment with a focus on safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- A minimum of 3-6 months of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Mandatory possession of a Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck License.
- Valid Forklift license with practical experience.
- Proficiency in utilizing warehouse management systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a strong commitment to safety.
- Physical fitness and the ability to safely perform manual tasks.
