Overview
Our Melbourne Fresh site is a chill DC and operates 24/7. We consolidate a range of fresh produce from fruits and vegetables to dairy, seafood, and meats, and we are seeking experienced Warehouse Team Members to join us today!
The role of a team member plays an integral role in ensuring that the right stock gets to the right store at the right time for our customers, Primary Connect is constantly changing to meet business demands. The position requires a strong sense of teamwork and focus on safety to ensure that the goods are dispatched in a timely manner. Your commitment and advocacy for our purpose of "connecting communities with the products they need and love" will drive the success of the DC.
Some of the duties as a Team Member include:
Working in 2 & 13 degree temperature controlled environments
Picking & preparing orders accurately destined for our network of stores
Working with voice picking technology
Operating manual handling equipment in line with Occupational Health & Safety requirements
Capacity to work in a physically demanding role to meet replenishment targets
Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
Working with Team Members to optimise warehouse processes and improve efficiency; and
Adherence to all company and safety policies, protocols and guidelines
What You'll Bring
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work under pressure to meet replenishment targets
Capacity to work in a physically demanding role
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Commitment to abide by company & safety policies and procedures
Prior warehouse or logistics experience (a plus); and
A positive attitude, an unstoppable work ethic, and of course, a sense of fun.
