As part of the Bapcor Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) we are one of the newest members of the Bapcor stable specialising in aftermarket and OE truck parts and accessories, supporting all makes and models in the Japanese Truck Segment.
WANO Japanese Truck Parts is currently looking for a full-time permanent Warehouse Store person at our Rocklea Distribution Centre.
Due to continued growth of our business, an exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced, motivated and reliable store person to join our Rocklea operations. This position operates within a dynamic and friendly team environment reporting to the warehouse manager.
Responsibilities Include:
- Picking and packing of orders.
- Put away of goods received.
- Ensure all parts are labelled correctly and in the correct location within the warehouse.
- Despatch/freight booking within our freight management system.
- Ensure housekeeping and safe working practices are adhered to, promoting safety policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.
- Effectively communicate with other team members.
- Stocktakes and stock movements where required.
- Possibly doing deliveries to customers.
About you:
- Good working knowledge of and experience with general inventory and stores processes.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Previous experience in similar role desirable.
- Computer literacy desirable.
- If you have experience with Truck and Trailer parts or a mechanical aptitude, this will be highly regarded.
- Current forklift license or willing to undertake the training.
