As the result of increased demand for our services, we have exciting career opportunities within our Warehouse team based at our facilities at Mascot.
Our Warehouse workers receive and check incoming shipments, label products, FIFO, puts away products as per locations, fills requisitions and counts products for accurate inventory. Please note. This position involves working within our Freezer /Chiller area.
A typical day, you would be responsible for:
- Performing receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendors.
- Day-to-day activities of the warehouse operations including but not limited to goods receiving, unpacking, packing, quality checking.
- Inspecting incoming product to quality standards and ensure freshness and shelf life.
- Moving product (use moving equipment – forklift, pallet jack), stock, FIFO freezer, cold room and dry goods.
- Maintaining inventory warehouse locations in a clean and organized manner.
- Conducting inventory counts and count sheets.
- Retrieving product as requested via SIPs.
About you
- Warehousing experience, preferably within a food related environment.
- Forklift license. Preferable but not a requirement.
- Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate.
- A “can-do” attitude with a strong work ethic and a sense of fun!
- Ability to work across a rotational 7-day roster across mornings and afternoons.
- Driver’s license.
- Full and unrestricted working rights for Australia.
