About the Job
We have an exciting opportunity for a hands on warehouse/store person to join our tightly knit team who are committed to delivering outcomes on time, every time. In this role you will be involved in all aspects of the day to day warehousing duties. You will be dedicated, have excellent organisational skills with a high focus on accuracy and will have previous experience within warehousing, goods receiving/dispatch and will need to take ownership of duties required in a small warehouse.
This is a casual role for 24 hours a week that has the opportunity to later be turned into a full-time role.
This position will be reporting directly to the Branch Manager and the major duties include but are not limited to the following key focus areas:
- Receiving and dispatching of goods
- Loading and unloading vehicles, including incoming containers both using a forklift and by hand
- Organising stock and inventory
- Assisting with regular stocktake
- Daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking and packing of items for delivery in a timely manner (heavy lifting required).
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse at all times
- Uphold our company's standards and values
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Strong organisational skills and time management
- Ability to resolve problems effectively
- Knowledge of warehouse processes
- Manual Car licence
- Forklift Licence (Mandatory)
- Accurately pick/pack job orders
- Attention to detail
