Clermont Open Cut is currently seeking experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic Commercial team onsite. Located on the western edge of the Bowen Basin, Clermont Open Cut is a high performing truck & shovel operation that produces 12 million tonnes of coal per annum. Clermont Open Cut Operation is a safe, and inclusive workplace focused on delivering high performance outcomes. The role which reports to the Supply Superintendent will offer variety and opportunity to the right individual.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Supervision, planning as well as involvement in day-to-day warehouse tasks such as receipting of freight, stock management, and site deliveries.
- Conducting stock takes as per supply management framework as well as effective inventory management.
- Understanding, planning and executing the Planned Parts process and delivery.
- Driving continuous improvement opportunities through value adding innovation and collaboration.
- Leading improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, and demonstrate strong, visible leadership.
About you:
- Certificate II or above in Supply Chain Operations would be highly regarded
- S123 & G2 competencies in order to be an appointed Supervisor (or willing to obtain)
- Prior experience in leadership roles will be viewed favourable
- RII competency for Forklift operations
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of supply including procurement and warehousing
- High level of computer skills including experience using Warehouse function in SAP
- QLD Drivers Licence (minimum P2)
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
This role requires a safety conscious candidate prepared to challenge the norm, drive continuous improvement and who can demonstrate experience in implementing best practise using a hands-on approach.
