The Opportunity:
An exciting full-time, permanent opportunity awaits an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with expertise in SAP at our Kilkenny site. Reporting to the State Logistics Manager and as part of our inclusive and highly supportive team, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing warehouse operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all warehouse operations, including Glass Production/Hold Floor Inventory, at Kilkenny and Gillman sites.
- Provide clear leadership and direction to ensure effective operations of Finished Goods Warehouses.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and order processing.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Lead and guide a team of warehouse staff, offering coaching and performance feedback.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures for a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and meet customer expectations.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Resolve issues and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Implement and maintain best practices in warehouse management, including Aged Ware/FIFO Management.
What You Need to Bring to the Role:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- Excellent time management with quick and effective decision-making ability.
- Ability to build strong relationships, work autonomously, and pride yourself on a hands-on approach.
- Forklift license is desirable.
