The Role:
Our Mareeba rural branch is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / Storeman.
The Warehouse / Store Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the rural store and ensure stock is stored and sold in line with legislative requirements.
Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Schedule and assign delivery run’s to drivers
- Monitor stock levels and reordering when needed.
- Loading and unloading trucks (forklift)
- General store duties.
To be successful for this role applicant must have:
- Similar experience ideally within the agriculture or rural industries (preferred).
- Excellent planning & organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Prior experience with loading and unloading of freight
- Flexibility, resilience with the ability to work with ever changing priorities.
- Solid computer skills
- Well-developed communication skills
- Current & valid Forklift licence
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
