Position Overview:
Simon George & Sons, in partnership with OnTalent, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join the team in. Reporting to both the Assistant General Manager and General Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing, picking, and delivery of orders while upholding our high standards of quality and customer service.
Primary Objective:
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all activities related to receiving, picking, processing, and delivery of fruit & vegetable orders, maximizing efficiency and accuracy to meet customer expectations.
Key Accountabilities:
Supervise all warehouse and distribution staff in collaboration with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
Ensure adherence to Simon George and Sons' standards and customer expectations in warehousing, distribution, and delivery processes.
Manage order workflow and driver runs to optimize efficiency.
Conduct weekly stock takes, including recounts and adjustments.
Supervise order processing, ensure specifications, completion times, and accuracy.
Verify quality of outgoing products to maintain standards.
Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
Communicate standards and provide training to warehouse employees.
Fulfill responsibilities as a First Aid Officer.
Coordinate with external logistics companies.
Supervise vehicle maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
