The role
As Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Logistics Manager with the effective daily operations of the Warehouse. You will lead a close knit Warehouse Team, oversee the successful inbound/outbound movement of all international/domestic stock and ensure accurate reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure effective daily operations for the Sydney warehouse
Assist the Logistics Manager with scheduling and overseeing stock movements - Oversee all inbound/outbound stock movements of the warehouse and ensure their receipting and physical allocations are completed and accurately posted into our Business Management System.
- Support with the stocktake process for the warehouse as required
- Support with the control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling within BC
- Lead, train, coach, and mentor your team on achieving warehouse goals and targets
- Ensure and promote safe workspaces and practices
Essential requirements
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience in warehouse, planning and outbound logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of warehousing processes and operations
- Forklift (LF) & Order Picker (LO) Licence required
- A passion for managing teams, good planning and organizational skills to ensure operation excellence.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to adapt to continuous and rapid changes in business requirements.
- Confident and able to engage, motivate and lead people to achieve individual and Team goals.
- Computer literacy
