Description
- Lead and motivate a team of 6 warehouse personnel to achieve performance targets and maintain a positive working environment.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching building materials efficiently and accurately.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Foster effective communication within the Warehouse Team and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflows and customer satisfaction.
- Identify training needs and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Profile
To be considered for this role, you will have
- Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
- Commitment to safety and experience in implementing safety measures.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
