Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Worker's responsibilities include:
- Work alongside the Warehouse Manager to understand and execute the allocation and operational plan for current day and the following day.
- Responsible for work within the Warehouse which consists of pick pack, processing and inventory duties.
- Work in conjunction with the dispatch coordinator to enable smooth day to day operations on the floor and provide leadership to the team members.
- Report all OHS related topics to the Warehouse Manager and ensure all entries are updated on Soda flow.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager and the Safety Manager in investigating and resolving any identified hazards, risks, and OH&S issues.
- Work in association with the Inventory controller on any matters relating to inventory.
- Ensure to meet all KPI’s across the Warehouse streams and ensure daily KPI data is recorded maintained.
- Ensure all email enquiries are responded to within 24 hours and follow up on any pending enquiries to confirm resolution. Acknowledge emails within 1 hour from receiving the enquiry.
- Maintain standards of workplace health and safety, housekeeping, and security.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, transport companies and key stakeholders of the business daily and always ensure to have a collaborative and positive approach.
- Assist senior management and the key stakeholders of the business with any additional requests.
- Training new and existing staff. Mentoring and supporting the team.
- Create zero-harm environment.
- Assist in 5S control of warehouse and dispatch area.
- Be accountable, collaborate with all departments and engage the workforce.
- Be accountable in your area with supporting the delivery of the Supply Chain Operating Plan.
Further to the above, roles and responsibilities within the Warehouse Worker Streams are below:
Order processing:
- Complete processing and documentation for customer orders.
- Complete any required documentation for suppliers in compliance with CoR and HVNL, and any other relevant compliance requirements.
- Adhere to all processes and procedures and action any other relevant duties as required.
Pick Packing:
- Works closely with and assists the Dispatch co-ordinator.
- Follow pick/pack SOPs across Bulk DC, Retail, E-commerce streams and Marketing streams.
- Adhere to all processes and procedures and action any other relevant duties as required.
Inventory:
- Works closely with and assists the Inventory controller (cross functional).
- Manage the stock transfer process.
- Action put away sheet provided by Forklift drivers.
- Daily and ad hoc cycle Count.
- Daily and ad hoc counting across relevant sites.
- Action on any request from Inventory Controller, Pick pack team, Sales.
- Coordinate with Inventory Controller for transfers.
- Adhere to all processes and procedures and action any other relevant duties as required.
KPI’s
Performance:
- Pick pack accuracy greater than 98%.
- Picking rate within 48 hours from receiving orders.
- Processing rate within 24 hours from receiving orders.
- Daily counting and reporting completed within 24 hours from receiving counting request.
Behavioural:
- Showcase and adhere to company values and policy.
- Display proactive, professional, and positive behaviour at all times.
- Report to Warehouse manager any improper behaviour not in line with company values and policy. This is important to ensure we create a safe working space for all our people.
