We are a well-established retailer of a huge range of mattresses and bedroom furniture and looking for an enthusiastic Delivery & Warehousing Officer to join our business.
This is a full-time position and is available for an immediate start.
The position involves 38 hours per week over 5 weekdays (Monday to Friday).
Position Overview:-
This position involves completing furniture deliveries driving a truck and warehousing duties.
The role is Monday to Friday and would suit applicants that are physically fit and able to carry bedroom furniture and mattresses.

Your main responsibilities and duties will include:-
- Lifting and moving of mattresses and bedroom furniture (assisted and unassisted)
- Delivering goods to customers
- Driving trucks and vans to complete deliveries
- Wrapping, storing and packing of goods for deliveries
- Delivery of mattresses and furniture to customers
- Providing an excellent standard of customer service at all times
- Receiving and preparation for sale and/or display of goods in store
- Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels – this may require stocktaking intervals
- Dealing with customer inquiries as required from time to time, solving problems and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Dealing with paperwork associated with the sale and delivery process
- General delivery and warehouse duties as required
Your experience, skill set and qualifications will include:-
- Be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work well in a high intensity warehousing environment
- Dependable and reliable, with excellent personal presentation
- Ability to speak to customers with a friendly approach.
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Eager to learn
- A Full Driver’s license and the ability to drive manual vehicles is required
