Waste Service/Bulky Collection Operator
About the role:
We have an opportunity available in our waste services team. With the introduction of a bulky waste collection service to the Maitland community last year, we are looking for experienced and reliable operator to provide coverage across a range of waste management services, including the general waste collection and bulky waste collection services across the Maitland LGA.
In this role you will undertake general waste collection duties including the operation of a rear-loading and side-loading waste collection vehicles as well as the collection of bulky kerbside waste and illegally dumped items in a safe and efficient manner. You will have transferable skills across both working areas and will provide coverage as required across both teams.

Benefits:
We have a 12 month temporary full-time role available with a salary range of $59,215 up to $65,729 per year based on demonstrated competencies + allowance + 11% super. Working 38 hours per week across a 7-day roster (1 in 4 weekends), with 7.6 hour shifts between 4:15am to 4:30pm.
