SalaryCK Recruitment are looking for 4 reliable, hard workers for a local waste sorting company in Kemps Creek. This is a very new and fast growing site. This position starts as a casual role for the first 3 months and then will become a permanent role after that.
This position is 5 days a week. This role starts at 7:00am to around 3:30pm. Lunch is around 10am every single day. There may be the odd casual Saturday work.
If we deem your resume suitable you will be required to interview with us as soon as possible, once registered you will also be required to attend an onsite walk through with our team. This is an ASAP start and we are searching for VERY reliable candidates with stable working history's. Working reference are required and will be contacted.
Your Position:
For the first half of the morning your position is to work inside of the factory. You will receive the broken E-goods laptops, microwaves, phones, remotes ect. Your role is to remove the lithium batteries from these devices and then dispose of them in their correct waste bins. These bins are then shredded and put through a sorting system. For the end half of your day you will then move to the outside to the productions line. This area has a shelter and aircon. This is where you will sort through all of the shredded E-goods that you worked on in the morning making sure to remove all of the unwanted waste and scrap metals.
You will be using hand tools, power drills ect. You may also be required to assist with the Forklift when there are some workers away.
- Every Friday there is a team lunch provided by the company.
- Random Drug and Alcohol tests will be conducted on site.
- You will be required to conduct a Drug and Alcohol Medical Assessment before starting the role.
What we are looking for
- You must have a stable and reliable working resume.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Your own Drivers License and Transport is absolutely essential.
- LF Forklift License is preffered.
- Great listening skills.
