Deputy Principal

John Curtin College of the Arts is seeking to appoint a proactive, strategic, and innovative leader to assist the principal in the functioning of college operations.The Deputy Principal is responsible to the principal for leadership of the college’s systems and strategies including policies and processes, operations and working closely with Manager of Business Operations with resource and funding allocations.The successful applicant will ideally possess a strong understanding in school timetabling, staffing and human resources to cater for the complexities of gifted and talented education. A value and understanding of Arts education is vital to cater for characteristics and needs of Arts education and pedagogies for Creativity when navigating and leading school operations at the college.A proven background in Department of Education policy and procedures and the ability to contextualise for the John Curtin of The Arts context is highly desirable.You will ideally be a collaborative leader whose exemplary interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build positive relationships with students, staff and the community.
