A fantastic opportunity exists for a Wastewater Operations Supervisor to join our team based in Karratha 6714 or Port Hedland 6721. Initially, you will engage in a combination of Supervisory duties and hands-on operational work, gradually assuming responsibility for supervising a team operating small wastewater treatment plants.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Supervising the operation and maintenance of small wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Developing and implementing plans for the efficient and effective management of plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Providing training and guidance to operators, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Prepare and submit KPI reports to management, highlighting plant performance, efficiency, and any areas for improvement.
- Managing operational projects, contractor coordination, and effective resource allocation.
- Actively participating in business development activities, including managing relationships with existing clients, identifying potential new clients, preparing proposals, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Identifying optimisation and continual improvement opportunities maximising efficiency and productivity.
- Managing systems to purchase, maintain and audit spares inventory.
- Developing and fostering an inclusive, innovative and high performing team.
- Ensuring compliance with quality systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- Experience in the operation of wastewater and water treatment plants.
- Proven track record in leadership, management and coaching.
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Certificate 3 in water operations is preferred.
