Job description

The importance of water to the health of our world can’t be overstated.

As the frequency and intensity of floods, droughts and storms increases, the water industry must continue to build resiliency and lead from the front. Together with our clients, we are thinking and doing things differently to help pre-empt and prepare for what's next. Be a part of this dynamic and committed team of diverse water specialists and drive change for your community.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Brisbane-based Water Process Engineering Technical Leader to join our South Queensland team. In this rewarding role, you’ll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities.

Working with a flexible, welcoming and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Leading high-performance teams in the process planning and design for water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
  • Managing and delivering high quality technical outcomes autonomously and as part of a team, including investigation, analysis and design tasks to support water treatment infrastructure throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Working with clients, fostering ongoing relationships to define and deliver their water and wastewater system solutions.
  • Leading and winning work and market-led innovative offerings.
  • Managing time and resources to achieve financial targets within projects with respect to new work and chargeable time.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Engineering Degree and have attained Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status.
  • Greater than 15 years' industry experience.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the operation, planning and/or design of municipal and/or industrial water treatment infrastructure and associated works.
