About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Water Services Supervisor to lead our team. The purpose of this role is to provide leadership to coordinate and supervise an efficient and effective work team in carrying out the operations and maintenance of Council’s water service assets including pump stations, treatment plants, reservoirs, distribution networks, groundwater systems and dams.

The Ultimate Project
Council has commenced construction of a state-of-the-art water treatment plant near Quipolly Dam including 19kms of pipelines between Quirindi and Werris Ck at a total cost of $32.4 million. The Quipolly Project will revolutionise water management in our Shire. As well, Council has commenced procuring an estimated $15 million Wastewater Treatment Plant in Quirindi due to commence construction in 2022. Come be part of it!

About you:
- Hold a Certificate IV Leadership and Management, or demonstrated Strong frontline leadership experience, managing a team, delegating tasks, staff supervision and problem solving to meet deadlines.
- Have experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of water service facilities within the frameworks of regulatory compliance, such as, Drinking Water Management Systems (DWMS) and Pollution Incident Response Management Plans (PIRMP).
- Have experience conducting performance evaluations.
- Have experience in promoting positive employee relations through effective conflict management and issue resolution.
- Well-developed skills to maintain records, interpersonal skills and communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Have the ability to operate computing technology including computers, SCADA, tablets, and smart phones with associated software.
- Hold a NSW SafeWork General Induction for Construction Work (White card).
- Hold a Current C Driver’s License.

Grade 6 - $73918.00 - $94619.20 plus 10.5% superannuation contribution depending qualifications and experience.
