The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a hard working individual to operate, maintain and construct water and sewerage infrastructure to recognised health, environmental and BVSC standards.
As a Water & Sewer Team Member, you will operate, monitor and maintain all facets of the area’s water and sewerage infrastructure including (but not limited to) scheduled and reactive maintenance programmes and routine and emergency maintenance activities for Water Storage Dam, as well as carrying out routine operational control procedures as required and reporting equipment malfunctions. You will identify and use contemporary technology and equipment.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (NWP30215) or willing to obtain or equivalent trade-based qualification and has a current NSW Class C drivers licence.
You will have the following skills and experience;
Demonstrated and complete understanding of water supply and sewerage system operation, maintenance and construction practices.
Developed skills in the laying of water and sewer mains and associated construction activities.
Developed fault-finding skill techniques as appropriate to water supply and sewerage systems.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Leaseback vehicle.
Benefits
This is a permanent full time position working 38 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $71,878.56 gross per annum, comprising of:
$1,245.30 per week base salary
$136.98 per week superannuation (calculated at 11%)
