A role where you will make a difference!

Lead a team that provides specialist support for the operation, maintenance and optimisation of our regional Water Treatment plants and process technologies.

You will have oversight of all Water Treatment plant matters and be a valuable contributor in helping solve problems with your team.

This role will allow you to visit plants state-wide, establishing relationships with stakeholders, and ultimately building further experience and knowledge of all things Water Treatment!

Leading with care, you will put safety at the forefront for your team and provide training and guidance to your workers.

Your team members will travel frequently to our regional sites, therefore you will have strong communication skills being very flexible and adaptable to connect in-house and afar.

Knowledge is power, especially when shared across your team. You will work among a supportive and knowledgeable team and take pride in the positive impact each one of them makes. You will quickly recognise they are a very collaborative bunch.

This is a permanent role based in Osborne Park, WA.

To excel in this role, you will have a scientific background to understand the problems and issues being presented at site.

Bonus points if you have water and/or wastewater experience!

The fundamentals of the role.

Lead complex engineering and scientific investigations for assessment of Water Treatment processes and technologies, and remedial work to improve performance, quality, and reliability to ensure the optimal performance of chemical dosing and Water Treatment plants.

Lead the provision of technical advice to address corporate incidents related to Water Treatment.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

You will possess the following:

Degree level qualification in a relevant scientific or engineering field.

Experience with troubleshooting, experience in delivering optimal scientific, engineering, business, and financial outcomes.

Knowledge of the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, the Australian Guidelines for Water Recycling, and their relevant management frameworks.

Technical report writing skills.
