Here is your opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic team in a brand-new hospitality venue opening up in the centre of Dunsborough.
The venue, a unique hybrid of Cellar Door and Restaurant, will be the home of Wayfinder wines, providing a place for locals and visitors to enjoy wine tasting and takeaway sales in the heart of town. It doesn't stop at tasting; we will showcase wines from our sister winery in Tasmania and offer a selection of international wines on our dine-in list.
About Wayfinder
Wayfinder Farm and Vineyard is located in Wilyabrup, Margaret River. We are a wine brand with a focus on sustainability and a light-touch approach to regenerative farming.
Aside from our organically certified vineyard, we are also active in tending to native regenerative planting, chickens, sheep, bees, vegetable gardens and a newly planted orchard. We aim to use our produce to help create a farm-to-table experience for our customers.
Cellar Door & Wait Staff
We have a range of positions for skilled hospitality professionals. If you have a genuine love of food and wine paired with a flair for customer service, we want to hear from you. Working in a collaborative and friendly environment you will have on-the-job training and the opportunity to learn from our experienced team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing warm, welcoming and informed customer service experiences.
- Promoting and building our wine club membership.
- Perform cleaning tasks as required.
- Following responsible service of alcohol, food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise and experience in Cellar Door and/or hospitality.
- A commitment to quality and an eye for detail.
- Experience with POS systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and to adapt to changing work priorities in a fast-paced venue.
- WSET is favourable but not essential.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol or Approved Manager Certification.
