  • Salary - Total Indicative Remuneration - $105,155 to $170,687 (includes award salary, superannuation and any other monetary benefits) - Classification - MDP2
  • Employment Full time - Term Contract (temporary up to February 2028)
About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Advanced Trainee within the Department of Allergy and Clinical Immunology where you will be responsible for:
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care and support to paediatric patients with a range of immunological conditions including allergic, immunodeficiency and auto inflammatory disorders, and clinical issues relating to immunisation.
  • Undertake advanced training with the RACP in this discipline.
  • Contribute to the research and professional development activities of the unit.
  • Contribute to the clinical teaching activities of the unit.

As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-months allocation as Advanced Trainee Allergy Immunology will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
  • Skills in problem solving and decision making with regard to patient management.
  • Sound knowledge of the meaning of confidentiality in a medical setting.
