WC&PS - Casual Multi-Skilled Worker

Salary: $30.27 - $33.29 per hour + 25% casual loading + 11% superannuation

• Class C Driver's licence.
• A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
• Experience in dealing with members of the public.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• An ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Be self-motivated and show initiative in the delegated areas of responsibility.
• A willingness to comply with all Council's policies and procedures.

Things you will do: 

• To perform duties with minimal supervision, while also being able to work in a team environment.
• To perform all activities in accordance with Council's Safe Work Method Statements.
• To work as part of a team to ensure that the required tasks are performed in the best possible way.
• To operate plant equipment consistent with manufacture's specifications and to ensure the work is undertaken in the most effective manner.
• To ensure vehicle maintenances check sheets are completed daily, identifying, and reporting any damage or mechanical repairs needed to Supervisors/Gangers.
• At all times drive Council vehicles in a safe manner and maintain a courteous attitude to other road users.
• Be responsible for the general cleanliness and appearances of Council's vehicle whilst under your control.
• Ensure an ethic with the focus on quality customer service that is responsive to the needs of the community.
• Exercise all delegated responsibilities in a diligent manner.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, industrial and Council policy requirements and standards in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity; Work, Health and Safety and Rehabilitation; and environmental protection.
