About the business:
We are a family-run, agricultural business looking for a Web App Developer to look at and optimize the existing code, as well as build new features for their growing business.
Project Requirements:
A developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the client's Web App. The platform is built on a tech stack, including PHP, Laravel, and AWS. The ideal candidate should have experience working with these technologies and be comfortable with both front-end and back-end development.
The Web App is a critical tool in our business, they have cosmetic improvements, new modules to build, and protections and user controls to be added.
Goals & Deliverables:
The main goals of this project are to enhance the Web App and improve its overall performance. The developer will be expected to collaborate with the National Operations Manager to assess and prioritize the tasks. Some of the specific tasks that the web developer will be responsible for include:
Developing new features and functionalities
Refactoring and optimizing existing code
Troubleshooting and fixing bugs
Integrating third-party APIs and services
Main Skills:
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:
Strong proficiency in PHP, and Laravel.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with AWS
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and collaboration skills
