About the role
Based in our Brisbane (Cannon Hill) office you will be responsible for the effective and efficient creation, development and management of all Knauf Insulation visual collateral representing the company internally as well as externally.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Creation, acquisition, cataloguing, storage and maintenance and back-up of electronic Apple Mac versions of all company literature and promotional material enabling ease of access and print management.
- Maintaining consistency of the company brands both on and offline, both internally and externally, across trade and retail markets to ensure a unified visual theme.
- Provide and manage graphic design and art direction for print and digital projects from concept through to completion whilst adhering to strict corporate guidelines.
- Production of 3D models and animations for use in corporate literature and online.
- Conversion and editing of corporate videos (including the optimisation of these for various digital platforms).
- Designing of packaging and co-ordination of the approval for all trade and retail products in the Asia Pacific region, liaising with external clients, technical departments, manufacturing plants and suppliers.
- Liaise with colleagues within the Knauf global network.
- Creation, uploading and maintenance of literature on the Knauf Insulation website/intranet developing and enhancing speed and ease of communications.
- Proactively remain up to date with all design trends and software capabilities.
- Production, development and management of an image library to enable ease of access of photography both internally and with third parties.
Knowledge & Experience
- Essential:
- Experience working as either an in-house Graphic Designer
- Graphic Design qualification, preferably an undergraduate degree (alternatively a Diploma or working towards one through a recognised training organisation).
- Working knowledge of the following Adobe CC programs using an Apple Mac computer:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Acrobat Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience of working to corporate guidelines
- Creation of animated imagery and image manipulation
- Experience working on large exhibition displays
- Creation of MS Word and PowerPoint presentation templates
- Understanding of the pre-print process
- Experience of managing various projects simultaneously whilst working to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise workloads accordingly within a team.
- Advantageous:
- Experience of working with Maxon Cinema 4D would be an advantage.
