We are a boutique Weight Management clinic in Crows Nest, Sydney.
Ours is a unique model, with a combination of a dietitian, doctor (GP) and a psychologist working together to get the best outcomes for patients. We are looking for a second psychologist to join the team.
Our clinic adopts a non-judgmental, compassionate approach to helping individuals manage their health, weight and relationship with food. We emphasise body positivity and self-worth which is paramount to the model of care we provide for our clients.
We are strongly evidence-based with a combined 20 years’ experience in medical Weight Management. We keep up to date with all the latest evidence in this rapidly expanding field.
We have strong relationships in the community with ties to General Practitioners, Surgeons and Physicians as well as other Allied Health Professionals.

• You will see patients in one-on-one consultations and participate in small team meetings to develop a shared care pathway.

Applicant must have:
• AHPRA registration.
• Own insurance.
• Understanding and willingness to work with a non-judgemental approach to women living in larger bodies.
• Interest in Weight Management psychology including management of disordered eating (specifically binge eating disorder).
• Interest in managing comorbid conditions which can be associated with excess weight, and management of these (such as trauma history, anxiety, depression and ADHD).
• Interest in psychology and bariatric surgery.
• Specific experience in specialty Weight Management is not necessary however 2 years experience in general psychology and a desire to learn and be actively involved in a multidisciplinary team is essential.
