Working in a busy production workshop, this role requires a hardworking individual who can thrive in a busy fast paced environment.
This role will be to primarily assemble panels using a wide variety of hand tools and power tools. Also you will be required to assist the metal department in the preparation of metal.
Main duties:
- Mig / Tig experience
- Cut own steel from full lengths – RHS / Flat Bar / Round pipe, etc
- Welding custom fabrications to drawing spec – (must be able to read & understand drawings)
- Linishing & polishing where required – prep for powder coating
- Possess good attention to detail (excellent at finishing jobs, double checking everything to make sure the job has been done right)
- Have a Fork license
- Ability to weld stainless steel / aluminium / brass
- Linishing/Polishing metal
- Cutting metal
- Deburring metal
- Using a variety of power tools
- General laboring work
This role is a Casual position.
38 hour work week, Monday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm and 7am-1:30pm on Fridays
Salary: $35-$42 per hour plus super depending on experience
