AddressOur clients, mining support services and engineering companies based out of Ayr and Townsville are seeking qualified welder/Boilermakers (Metal Fabricators) to work at the company workshop and in field service.

The successful applicants must have:
- Structural steel fabrication experience.
- Experience in fabricating material handling equipment within the coal industry.
- Experience in technical drawing interpretation.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the industry.
- A level of workmanship that exceeds the highest quality standards.
- Build up work internal and external using MIG, Sub Arc and Hot Spray.
- Fabrication from samples and engineered drawings.
- General duties including use of grinding, cutting (friction & gas cutting), welding (GMAW, TIG, Stick), polishing, cropping, pressing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels.
- Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry out work safely.
- Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure that current (QA) processes are carried out and
provide support to current processes. - Adherence to all company procedures.
- Ensure that all welders are actively engaged throughout the
business where possible, assisting in the facilitation of a harmonious environment, working efficiently with the Fabrication team. - Ensure that your communication lines are maintained and
that you communicate to workshop leading hands and workshop managers. - Will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your. designated workplace and workshop.
