Welding Coordinator (Validation & Prolongation)

Halliday Engineering is seeking a Welding Coordinator.

Working within a team of engineers and tradespeople, and reporting to the Technical Director, the Welding Coordinator will administer all functions of welder qualification.

• Timely planning and validation of welders
• Prolongation of existing welder certificates
• Creation of new welder certificates
• Upkeep of qualification matrixes.
• Upkeep of all related documents.
• Build new weld qualification records.
• Build new weld procedures.
• Assist transparency of welder qualification to the project management and production teams.
• Liaise with classification societies for welder certifications.

An ideal candidate would be someone with a recent graduate engineering qualification, or previous weld related engineering, administration and or coordinator experience.

The role involves administration and document control and processing to ensure compliance to welder certifications. In addition to administrative controls, the Welding Coordinator will assist our production and project teams ensure the right balance of welder skills remains available for the business and processes for quality are being administered.

• Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status.
• Be able to work with high attention to detail.
• Previous exposure or experience with welding.
• Appreciation for technical trades

• White card construction training certification CPCCWHS1001.
