About the Role

JAX Tyres & Auto Kwinanaare seeking an experienced Wheel Alignment Technician to join their store. In this role, you will identify and rectify faults found in customer’s Wheel Alignments and suspension as well as identifying and rectifying faults found in customer tyres such as wear and tear, punctures, fitting, rotating, balancing and general tyre repairs. 

You will be working in a well-equipped and organised workshop, closely alongside your service advisor, head motor mechanic, motor mechanics, tyre technician to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.  

Your main day-to-day tasks would include.

• Perform Wheel Alignments and other wheel/suspension related services on customers vehicles. 
• Identifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear
• Identify and rectify faults found in customer tyres.
• Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles.
• Safely operating hoists
• Conducting road tests as required

About you

• 2 or more years’ experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician.
• 2 or more years’ experience as a Tyre Technician.
• Excellent communication skills, time management and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work in a team environment, but also unsupervised.
• MUST be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day duties
• Knowledge WHS practices
• MUST be experienced in the automotive tyre industry.
• Australian driver's licence (Required)
• Available to work Saturdays on a rotating roster.
