Hicks Civil and Mining are always on the look out for new talent to work across our on-going Project.
This role is Site Based on either a FIFO (Perth, WA) or DIDO (Pilbara, WA) basis.
- Roster - 2:1
- Day Shifts Only (12hrs)
- Fly day - Wednesday PM
- Hourly Rate + Penalties
All candidates must possess the right to work in Australia.
A pre-employment medical and police clearance will be required for these roles.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the function’s core responsibilities consist of:
- Good communication skills.
- Demonstrate the basic requirements for site specific material moisture conditioning.
- Be able to operate a wide range of site specific heavy mobile equipment.
- Be able to demonstrate the operation of required mobile equipment to line and level.
- Be able to execute tasks as directed by supervisor with limited supervision.
- Be able to identify issues with tasks and report to supervisor as required to prevent production delays
- Be able to achieve within the scope of your capabilities the daily project production targets.
Requirements
- HR License
- Excavator (wheeled)
- Loader
- Watercart/Tipper
- Valid drivers’ license
- Un-restricted working rights within Australia
Experience
- Experience in the mining industry or similar industry is preferable.
- Previous plant operating experience (Desirable).
- Understanding and experience of remote operation working procedures (Essential).
- A basic knowledge of the Mining Industry.
- Rio Tinto Inducted - desirable
