Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure Compliance: Uphold and promote the highest standards of safety across multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to all relevant WHS legislation.
• Safety Documentation: Develop, tailor, and provide comprehensive safety documentation in collaboration with project managers to meet the unique requirements of each project.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with project managers, builders, and other stakeholders to integrate WHS practices seamlessly into project management processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in WHS practices and contribute to the development and implementation of safety initiatives.

Key Personal Criteria

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:

• Industry Experience: Substantial experience in the construction industry with a deep understanding of WHS regulations and practices.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and implement effective safety measures.
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in WHS or related fields. A thorough understanding of the ACT and regulations governing the construction industry is essential.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
• Computer aptitude: must have strong proficiency with Computer programs and construction management software.
