The Bento Buzz is Australia's #1 Bento Lunch & Hydration Store. What does that mean? We're a niche kitchenware store specialising in bento boxes, drink bottles, bags and accessories for adults and children. We make lunch packing fun and we know lunchboxes.
What we need:
We're on the hunt for a Store Manager with buzz to bring our online store to real life. The Bento Buzz flagship store opens soon, you'll work with the owner to build the store from the ground up creating Australia's ultimate lunchbox destination.
As the Store Manager you'll be leading the team, creating the buzz and ensuring our customers continue to know we're the bee's knees in all things bento.
In the hive you'll be:
- Leading the team with your high energy, enthusiasm and can-do attitude
- Sharing a love for kitchen organisation and a passion for helping customers problem solve their needs
- Reviewing and actioning current retail and niche market trends
- Managing inventory levels and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability
- Recruiting, training, mentoring and developing a team that provides exceptional customer service
- Upholding store presentation and ensure all visual merchandising standards are met
- Cash handling and processing POS transactions, preorders, refunds and sales.
Who we're looking for:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Store Manager in similar retail market
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Must be available to work weekends, and full December and January availability, to meet the demands of the store during peak 'back to school' season
