About the role
We are looking for a motivated safety professional for a permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) role, based at our Hobart Hospitals.
This role will work as part of our experienced Tasmanian WHS & Injury Management team, providing professional safety services to our hospitals, aged care and home care services.
Your main duties will include:
- Partnering with local managers to support safe work environments and process within our services.
- Embedding WHS activities focusing on key WHS risks
- Supporting WHS & Wellness initiatives across the region
About you
- Tertiary qualification in WHS Management or related discipline, or demonstrated significant equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated experience working in workplace health and safety and/or risk management
- Knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation and related Codes of Practice
- Proven knowledge of Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation methodologies
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting information in a variety of formats to different audiences
