We are looking for an experienced Shotfirer to join our Mining – Drill & Blast team in a dynamic and growing company at our Whyalla operations in SA.
Full Time position with BUS IN/OUT from Whyalla, Cowell or Port Augusta
Roster is 7 days on and 7 days off. This is a long-term project for SRG Global having been the drilling and blasting contractor onsite since 2013.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Greater than 2 years’ experience as a Shotfirer
- Dangerous Goods Drivers License (Desirable)
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- SA or WA Shotfirer Licence
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
- A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
- Hold a current drivers licence
