Your new role
In this highly specialised role, you will be working closely with various stakeholders to provide expert advice to ensure that they meet legislative and corporate obligations in relation to offshore electricity infrastructure licence administration. This is an initial 12-month contract with the opportunity to extend to 24 months. This role includes, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities:
- The provision of high-quality written advice on industry applications that relate to Offshore Electricity Infrastructure
- Contributing to ongoing compliance activities in relation to licences
- Supporting other teams in the ongoing operation and continuous improvement of regulatory regime practices and procedures.
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders on regulatory matters within the industry.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years’ experience of an engineering and/or project management background in large-scale renewable energy developments
- Structural, mechanical and/or electrical engineering with a focus on wind or other large-scale energy technologies.
- Project management of renewable energy developments, including feasibility, planning, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance and/or decommissioning.
- Technical standards for the design, operation and maintenance of renewable energy generation and transmission infrastructure.
- Commercial structures and financing of offshore wind or other large scale offshore or onshore renewable energy developments.
