AddressJoin us as a Turbine Technician at our Mt Gellibrand Wind Farm operation (44 Wind Turbines generating up to 132 MW of clean energy). Conduct maintenance on turbines, ensure safety standards, contribute to improvements, and maintain maintenance records.
- Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Carry out routine and emergency maintenance on Wind Turbines, high voltage systems, and infrastructure to ensure peak performance and minimize downtime.
- Monitor Equipment Performance: Track plant and equipment performance, gathering data to boost operational efficiency and enhance maintenance practices.
- Adhere to HSE Standards: Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, prioritizing safety and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Roster: Monday Hours: 7.30am – 3.30pm, Tuesday to Friday: 7 AM - 3 PM. You will be part of a 1:3 callout roster (during 7 am – 3pm pm unless it’s a substation emergency).
- Hold a valid trade Mechanical Trade Certificate.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Maintain a current driver's license for manual vehicles.
- Previous mechanical technician experience within the power generation, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, or other heavy industrial sectors.
