Window Furnishings And Security Installer/Trainee

IMMEDIATE START!!! WINDOW FURNISHING AND SECURITY INSTALLER/TRAINEE WANTED IN GYMPIE:

To be able to learn to install all products

Including but not limited to: All internal blinds and shutters, all external awnings and shutters, and all Security Products including doors, screens, safe escapes, build outs etc. Security products include Panther Protect, Clearshield, Crimsafe, Safety and Barrier screens and doors. We are full NSSA members

You will learn to check measure all jobs before the order is placed.

You will be able to lift and move heavy things at times.

You will be able to think for yourself.

You will maintain a high standard of completed work with an absolute eye for detail, and work in a fast paced environment and keep to a schedule.

You will NOT need to have smoke or vape breaks every five minutes, you will adhere to our written drug and alcohol policy.

You will turn up when required without fail, and not give 5 minutes warning that you are not coming in.

You will have your personal life organised around your work life.

You will have a great work ethic.

You will own the role and take responsibility for it.

You will need to be able to use power tools and work off ladders and scaffold at times. You will need to be accurate and precise with all paperwork at all times. 

A clean drivers licence is a must, as is your own personal transport to and from work. 

You will be working 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) plus paid overtime. No weekend work. This is a full time position.

1 month casual trail followed by 6 months probationary period.

Our install van is new (Hi-ace) and all tools and work shirts supplied.

An eye for detail is a must as we pride ourselves on Customer Service, and will expect the same from you. We are a very small family owned and run business, where attention to detail and the best customer service in Gympie, are key.
