Winery Cellar Hand

We are seeking Winery Cellar Hands who are hard-working team players, with excellent communication skills. Successful applicants will be working with state-of-the-art equipment with competitive remuneration, great benefits and uniform supplied.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our iconic brand with the opportunity to work across multiple departments and play a wider role in the wine production process. Full training is provided, so you can earn as you learn!

Duties will include:

• Operate equipment in accordance with SOP's
• Rotate through Cellar operations including transfers, blending, cleaning, general cellar duties, and machine operations
• Perform confined space operations which includes handling of oak nuggets, lees and tank cleaning
• Completion and recording of work orders and data sheets
• Adhering to company WH&S Policies and Procedures

Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience in a Winery Cellar is an advantage, but not essential
• The ability to work in a team
• Effective communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Current confined space certificate (desirable)
• Forklift licence (desirable)

Successful applicants must be willing to complete a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test, have their own transport and be able to work rotating shifts.
