Asset Inspector - Parks & Buildings
Permanent Full Time Opportunity (35-hour week)
Salary Ranging from $85,143.76 to $98,767.24 pa + 11% Superannuation (Depending on experience)
Lease Back Vehicle provided with this position.
The Opportunity
As an Asset Inspector, you will be required to undertake inspections of Council’s parks and buildings assets in relation to condition assessment, asset verification, hazard identification, risk analysis, data collecting, recording and reporting. Provide feedback on asset condition trending and scope projects for inclusion in the capital works program.
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Building, Open Space, Project Management, Asset Management, engineering or commensurate industry experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in construction and maintenance of parks and building assets.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset management including condition assessments, field inspections.
- Extensive experience in capital project scoping and cost estimating relating to parks and buildings assets.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of future works programs.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing staff performance.
- Demonstrated high level of computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing risk assessments related to infrastructure assets.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a broad range of people, community groups, Councillors and public authorities.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (Class C).
