Permanent Full Time
Salary upto $161,049.95 per annum plus superannuation and option of a motor vehicle equalisation allowance ($10,450pa) OR a lease for private use of a motor vehicle.
(Salary package will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications)

About the position

Are you ready to lead an innovative and inclusive library service for the vibrant Wollongong community? As the Wollongong CityLibraries Manager, you will spearhead planning, development, and delivery of exceptional library services across seven library sites and virtual platforms. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a collaborative team culture, driving strategic outcomes, and contributing to an extraordinary Wollongong.

You will:
- Lead and manage Wollongong City Libraries, shaping organisational culture and fostering positive working relationships.
- Ensure that Wollongong City Libraries is a vibrant, modern and future focused service
- Strategically plan and develop library services in alignment with Council's goals, monitoring external trends and legislation.
- Manage diverse teams, engage stakeholders, and oversee financial activities, including budgeting and income generation.
- Uphold high service quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Drive organisational change and lead complex library projects, collaborating regionally and statewide.

You will demonstrate effective leadership, exceptional customer service, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills. Your experience in library services, financial management, and organisational change will be crucial in driving Wollongong City Libraries into the future.
