Address Universal Cabinets & Designs is currently looking for a keen & experienced Wood Machinists to run the machines in a cabinet making business in the Malaga area. E.g. Morbidelli, CNC & beamsaw. We will also be welcoming into our machine shop within the year a new Winstore.
We manufacture all types of cabinet works in a large factory and specialise with custom cabinetry and commercial outfits.
Duties include:
* Operate and maintain machines listed above and use edgebender
* Monitor stock levels associated the machines
* Perform periodic maintenance checks and tests to ensure it runs at its best
* Assist to organise warehouse stock and operation of forklift
Applicant requirements:
* Preferable to have at least 3 years minimum experience within the industry
* CNC or machining experience
* Must be able to step up to the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with working hours at short notice
* Must take pride in their workmanship and quality
* Attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions, be keen, self motivated and driven
* Be able to communicate well
* Forklift ticket is advantageous but not necessary
* Cabinet vision and or Wood CAD CAM familiarity would be desirable
