What you'll be doing
Focus on consulting with patients with various indications that may be suitable for medicinal cannabis therapies or for which there are new and existing observational studies being conducted.
The specialist will be responsible for:
Contributing to the CA Clinics Service offering by consulting with patients, this requirement being modified depending on their availability and patient demand.
Consulting patients includes providing: clinical assessment of patients’ suitability for medicinal cannabis trial, applying for approval to prescribe medicinal cannabis with the relevant state and regulatory departments as well as managing the patient treatment in respect to medicinal cannabis.
Working collaboratively with the Applied Cannabis Research Centre with the option of leading specific observational studies if this is of interest.

What is required
To be considered you must be able to meet the following criteria:
- Full AHPRA Registration
- Be Vocationally Registered with Fellowship of an Australian specialist college
- Able to bill for services under the Medicare Benefits Schedule
- Ability to work a minimum of 4hrs per fortnight by telehealth or physical attendance.
