Join our team and help us in advancing the energy transition towards net zero while enjoying a healthy work-life balance, career growth and a strong focus on safety, diversity and inclusion.We have a permanent opportunity for a Work Group Officer to be located at Barcaldine or Blackall.The role:As a Work Group Officer, you're a skilled and competent tradesperson who utilises and blends both trade-based skills and supervisory skills in order to assist with leading field staff. You will perform a pivotal role in supporting the workgroup from a technical and work planning perspective, to ensure work is undertaken in an effective and efficient way.What’s on offer:Before you dismiss these towns, first check out the additional location incentives on offer. • Non-Urban Zone Allowance – up to $15,375 per annum.
• Housing Allowance – up to $8,320 per annum.
• Locality Allowance – up to $2,665 per annum.
• Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $10,000 after 2 years of service and if you decide to stay on for 5, 10, 15 or even 20 years, we’ll pay you $15,000 at each milestone.

Plus, when you decide it’s time for a well-earned break, we’ll give you an additional 4 days of annual leave per year to assist with travel to and from your chosen holiday destinations.And, if you dont currently live in this neck of the woods, well also chip in up to $10,000 relocation assistance to make the move just that little bit easier.Remuneration -

• From $116,202 per annum + 12.75% Superannuation on a 9-day fortnight roster.
• From $134,213 per annum + 12.75% Superannuation on a 10-day fortnight roster.

The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant’s knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position.Other Benefits -

About you:Critical to your success in the role is your:

• Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an:

• Electrical Fitter Mechanic, and/or
• Electrical Linesperson, and/or
• Electrical Jointer.
• Understanding of electricity distribution and/or transmission, including design, construction, maintenance and operation of underground and overhead mains and substation equipment.
• Well-developed people management and leadership skills including mentoring and coaching skills and the ability to successfully manage all aspects of employee performance.
• Demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication skills, establishing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working in a team, by working collaboratively across a diverse stakeholder network, negotiating and influencing others to achieve quality outcomes.
• Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
